We have a ice machine in our project's cafeteria. The ice machine is able to produce a certain quantity of ice and the water usage depends on how much ice it produces. It is very probably that the ice machine will not need to produce its maximum ice quantity. We wonder if it is appropriate to consider its maximum water consumption (to be conservative) or try to look for a reasonable use that would be closer to the actual consumption.
