our project is very near to a river and our client is proposing to make a 25m deep drill and pump water (which is not potable due to the river) and use it for irrigation purposes...

According to the glossary of the refernce guide, the 'landscape area' is the the total site area less the building footprint, paved surfaces, water bodies and patios. Consequently roof gardens...
