The project I am working on is over the light allowance, but does not have any money in the budget to add mechanical glare control devices. Is there an alternative compliance path... something...

ASHRAE 189.1, 8.4.1.2 requires us to have permanent shading devices. We are attempting to achieve the Daylighting credit 8.1. For the prescriptive method, does an interior or exterior shading...

I have completed filling out the template for the prescriptive path, including over 75% daylit space, when skylight and window areas are combined, yet the template summary is still showing '0...

We have few interior rooms on our project that “borrow” daylight through relites facing exterior window. Can we include these rooms in our calculations?
