Multiple Mode

NC-2009 IEQc6.1: Controllability of systems - lighting

I need to know what is meant by the "Multiple Mode" mentioned in the the scorecard form under the "Lighting Control Type"? and if I have both; task lighting and on/off switch for ambient lighting...
