We're currently working on a LEED BD+C project and have a question regarding WEc1: Outdoor Water Use Reduction.

In LEED BD+C: New Construction V4.1, the outdoor water use reduction credit (2 points) states that alternative water sources can be used to achieve an additional 30% reduction.

LEED Addenda #10231 (https://www.usgbc.org/leedaddenda/10231) effectively stated that extensive roof systems could not count towards SSc5.1 Site Development-Protect or Restore Habitat for v3 -

I’ve registered a LEED project under the campus approach, which includes a hotel, residential apartment buildings, and a few standalone villas.

We’re planning to pursue LEED v4 Homes MRc2 credit under Option 2, specifically in the insulation category for ≥25% postconsumer recycled content.
