Safe pedestrian access to the building please!

I would like to see this credit evolve to include pedestrian access to the building. Most cities in my country are very pedestrian oriented and can comply with this credit´s requirements.

How is distance between street trees measured? From center to center or from the border of the crown to the next crown border?

We were inspired to test out this credit because of the huge increase in students walking to school after we completed a full renovation of a historic school in North Adams, MA.

I have a campus project in Wisconsin. University projects are generally walkable and try to continue a very pedestrian orientated feel.

If a pilot credit is repealed (under Resources, it says March 2013), does that mean a project can not submit this credit even if the project is registered for the credit?
