LEEDuser Premium Member 3 thumbs up February 4, 2019- 3:48 pm Hi could someone please help with an answer to the above? I will re-copy for ease. Thank you. Is compliant SRI paint enough?NC-2009 SSc7.2: Heat island effect - roofposted by Raymond Salfiti on Dec 9, 2016, 12:37 pmCharles Nepps NH Green Consulting LEEDuser Premium Member 97 thumbs up December 9, 2016- 1:31 pm The assumption you made: the paint is compliant, therefore whatever you paint will be compliant, is not unreasonable, or that uncommon. However, the texture of the surface has a lot of impact on the SRI value. For example a irregular surface can actually cast shadows on itself and reduce the overall SRI value. You'll need to contact the paint manufacturer and find out which material(s) they tested the paint on and hope that those match the materials you painted. If not, you may need to have additional testing... Last reply: Summer Minchew, May 18, 2017, 10:36 am |

Homes v4, EA, Home Size, positive and negative points?Homes-v4 EAp4: Home sizeposted by Gary Wheeler on Mar 24, 2017, 4:48 pmOn the Excel spreadsheet from LEED, there is no space to put either positive or netative points. The line is shown with a "Y" box, is listed as "prereq." and there is no space listing the number of points possible. Maybe I am using the wrong spreadsheet, mine is titled on the top "LEED v4 for Homes Design and Construction: Homes and Multifamily Lowrise". It has colored boxes of green, yellow and tan for the points areas. Maybe I should be using: LEED v4 for Homes Design and Construction Checklist.xlsx? I was reluctant to use the version with macros as I am using... Last reply: Carissa Sawyer, Jan 16, 2019, 5:42 pm |
