Do staff lounges, waiting rooms, family rooms and religious spaces count?Healthcare-v4 SSc7: Places of respiteposted by Kendall Claus on Sep 14, 2023, 9:43 pmUmesh Atre Sustainability Lead Parkhill LEEDuser Basic Member 10 thumbs up October 5, 2023- 4:48 pm Hi Kendall- As you know, indoor spaces can count towards only 30% of the total, but assuming you have the rest covered through outdoor spaces, so long as all the requirements listed under the credit are met (mainly the 90% direct line of sight access to views of nature), I believe you could use the spaces you have listed. This credit is all about health benefits tied to access to nature, fresh air, daylighting, views, relaxation, stress relief, etc. Hoping this helps. Log in or register to post... Requirements for green vehicle category?CS-v4 LTc8: Green vehiclesposted by Marine Petrosyan on Oct 2, 2023, 6:13 amEmily Purcell Sustainable Design Lead CannonDesign LEEDuser Expert 369 thumbs up October 2, 2023- 2:06 pm LEED does not specify how this gets managed during operation, they are just looking for signage (or a preferred permit process / discounted fee if that applies to your site). The v4.1 version of this credit removed the preferred parking requirement and only requires EV-ready or EV charger spaces, which is more in line with local EV requirements and market demand in my experience. You could try to use the small to medium office one and see if the reviewer would accept it. Log in or register to post comments Edgar Arevalo Associate LEEDuser Basic Member 18 thumbs up September 25, 2023- 5:47 pm Ok thank you. I do have another question, because this library is a commercial interior project, a lot in the Envelope section of the AEDG does not apply because it's not in the scope of work... When Did the v4 Water Metering Credit Change?NC-v4 WEc4: Water meteringposted by Kyle G. Pearson on Sep 22, 2023, 12:42 pmthe start, because, as you noted, these are usually served by the same lines as dishwashers, mop sinks, drinking fountains, etc. If you are going to use this option, the plumbing engineer needs to layout the system with this in mind. We usually select landscape irrigation and domestic hot water for our two systems. The key for the latter is to avoid instahot type systems. Then you can meter the line out...
