Glenn Heinmiller Principal Lam Partners LEEDuser Basic Member 100 thumbs up November 1, 2023- 9:07 pm To me, the idea of getting points for the Lighting Quality credit for a parking garage doesn't make a lot of sense to me. And in any case, I don't see how it is even possible because so many of the requirements only apply to regularly occupied spaces.  And in a parking garage, there aren't any. This seems to be the case with either the 4.0 or 4.1 version of the credit Log in or register to post comments Summer Minchew Managing Partner Ecoimpact Consulting LEEDuser Expert 170 thumbs up...

Trista Brown Project Director WSP USA LEEDuser Basic Member 456 thumbs up March 20, 2018- 1:36 pm Hi Yodi, you could contact USGBC's customer service line to ask how you should document R32. Other folks have raised this same question on LEEDuser so you're not the only one having this issue. Maybe if enough people contact USGBC they'll release an updated credit form. Alternatively, you could provide a narrative and manufacturer documentation that provides the information requested on the form, and complete the calculation outside the form in order to confirm compliance....

There are also plenty of templates online. Tristan Roberts Representative Vermont House of Representatives LEEDuser Expert 11477 thumbs up January 31, 2018- 11:38 am I would think this should be allowed by LEED. I would check with GBCI to be sure. You don't specify, but I wonder if the interior non-structural elements are historical at this point, or not? If they are not, it seems like that would make plenty of sense. Even if they are, the approval of the local authority should mean a lot. Heat Rejection and Cooling- Lab Equipment Process Water Use

NC-v4 WEp2: Indoor water use reduction
posted by Allison Wilson on Oct 5, 2023, 12:40 pm

In the case of lab equipment such as sterilizers and lab glassware washers, water is frequently super-heated and recirculated within the chamber to achieve cleanliness and sterilization which appears consistent with the requirements of this prerequisite that heat rejection and cooling process loads have no once-through cooling with potable water for any equipment or appliances that reject heat. It is also often true for this type of equipment that before the water used to achieve sterilization can be discharged to drain lines, that it must be injected with cooler water to ensure the super-heated...
