Choose the right one?NC-2009 EAc1: Optimize Energy Performanceposted by Robert Sutton on Apr 30, 2013, 2:09 pmbut even there it is not a clear choice. Offices easy, Studios- I suppose they are classrooms at 1.4 w/sf, but could be Workshops at 1.9 w/sf since they use lots of lighting to paint and scupt. Our coridors... ArticleGeneral forumsposted by J. Yudelson on Jan 8, 2014, 4:59 pmI would take issue with Mr Phinney's implied estimate that you can do all the LEED consulting and meet all the requirements for less than $10,000 on a large project. We will be releasing a study soon of an actual university project that used both standards, with side by side cost comparisons of facilities staff time that shows a significant disparity in time required for compliance with the two standards, with Green Globes cheaper by 60% in terms of staff time. On a major project, that will add up to a lot more than the disparity in registration costs. ... Last reply: Tristan Roberts, Jun 17, 2014, 6:00 pm |

Ratioing DES On-Site Renewable Energy CostsNC-2009 EAp2: Minimum Energy Performanceposted by Lawrence Lile on Dec 17, 2015, 2:20 pm9:33 am Still don't understand. Calculate the cost all you want. At the end, you'll subtract the entire cost, so the bottom line is still zero. Cost is just a way to measure energy use. LEED... Last reply: Marcus Sheffer, Oct 25, 2023, 10:19 am |

Process LoadsNC-2009 EAp2: Minimum Energy Performanceposted by Paula Hernandez on Jul 27, 2016, 10:39 amHello, I am modeling a bulding where wine is made (don´t know how to say it in English, sorry), the thing is that there are many spaces in the project that have AHU just to process or store the wine under certain conditions of temperature and humidity. I have some doubts about how to model this spaces: 1. I assume they are process loads. 2. If this assumption is ok, I would need to include the AHUs power inpunt and it´s schedule both in the Baseline and the Project buildings. 3. On the same line of thinking, this will appear as a "Process Load #1". 4. If the previous assumption is wrong,... Last reply: Marcus Sheffer, Sep 21, 2017, 11:47 am |
