Hello LEEDers!
In the Building Product Disclosure and Optimization credits of LEED BD+C (v4 or v4.1), is there a minimum percentage or quantity requirement for each product that must be implemented in my building for it to be considered a "whole product" for LEED?
If I am using a specific concrete with an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD), for example, should all concretes of the same CSI Master Format class in the project have an EPD? Or is it sufficient for only one wall with this concrete to be counted as a product in these credits?
Similarly, if I am using a door with FSC certification, should all doors in my building have FSC certification, or is it adequate for just one door with this certification to be recognized as a product?
Thanks in advance!

Marcelo,
For the BPDO credits a single product is defined in the Reference Guide as "...an item that arrives on the project site either as a finished element ready for installation or as a component to another item assembled on-site." It also states "...similar products within a specification can each contribute as separate products."
Therefore, if you have multiple concrete mixes, carpet types, gypsum board products, etc, each one can be counted individually as a "product" for LEED. LEED does not require all products in the same category to contribute to the same credits, meaning some concrete mixes may have EPDs, recycled content, and/or HPDs or other documentation, some may not. Hopefully this answers your question!
