You can determine the energy end uses that must be permanently metered based on energy measurements from utility meters, the building automation system (BAS), or temporary spot metering. Alternatively, if that type of data isn’t available, you can use the energy-use breakdown developed through the ASHRAE Level 1 audit (which all projects must complete for EAp1).
